Bro. Matthew is the Lead Pastor of Ely Baptist Church. Prior to coming to Ely, he faithfully served in churches in both Missouri and Alabama. Bro. Matthew received his Bachelor of Science degree from Missouri State University in Springfield, MO. He received his Master of Divinity degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, LA. Brother Matthew and his wife, Mindy, have four children: Emory, Levi, Ezra and Adalyn. Bro. Matthew's main focus at Ely Baptist is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and equip the members of the church to do the work of the ministry. His passion is to teach others the amazing truth found in Scripture and to make disciples of Jesus Christ.

Brother Akinlade Caulcrick, Jr., is the youth and associate pastor of Ely Baptist Church. He is called to be a bond servant of our Lord Jesus Christ and to make disciples in our community who would in turn make disciples of the nations. Brother Akinlade graduated from New Orleans Baptist Theological with a masters in theology. He is married to Jessi Caulcrick who is his helpmate in the ministry with the goal of making Christ famous together.
